My Story

I am a mother of a blended family comprised of two girls and four boys. Our family calls Lee's Summit, MO home. We spend our time at soccer and basketball games, doing fun family activities, and just being pretty normal.

I learned to speak Spanish and became passionate about it early in life. I went on to focus on Spanish in college & then complete an 18-month-course to receive my HCI (Health Care Interpreting) Certificate.

Uno Dos Tres Learn Spanish is my first & only business. How did it come to be?  Great question!  One day someone told me, "Follow your heart!" Well, I listened and posted my idea to have Spanish classes for children to see if anyone would be interested. To my surprise many people were very interested. Two weeks later we started having our little classes on in the public space of the local public library.  Fast forward three months and I opened my very own classroom space!  It has been a wild ride and the greatest learning experience, but I am so in love with this business and being able to share my passion with others.

My goal with Uno Dos Tres Learn Spanish is to use my knowledge of the Spanish language to create a fun and engaging learning environment which helps my students have the ability to create meaningful conversation.
